• Finish Options: The dog tag pendant is created from .925 solid sterling silver and is available in your choice of a brushed satin finish (recommended) or a high polish mirror finish.
• Custom Engraving Instructions: Please use the drop-down menu to select the text your desired orientation and the number of sides you wish to engrave. Engravable space on each side of the dog tag allows for 8 lines of text at 15 characters/spaces per line if engraved in the vertical/portrait orientation and 5 lines of text at 20 characters/spaces per line if engraved in the horizontal/landscape orientation. Diagonal engraving allows for approximately 150 characters/spaces.  
• Chain: 30" .925 solid sterling silver 2mm ball chain - secures with a lobster clasp (9.5g)

• Materials: The sterling silver used to create our pendant necklaces is created from 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Our sterling silver pendant necklaces are both lead and nickel free making them a hypoallergenic choice for those with sensitive skin.

• Creation Timeline: Our current production time for the customization of this design is approximately 1-2 days. During holiday seasons production timelines may increase.
• Proofs: Complimentary proofs are available upon request. 
• Returns: Custom engraved items are created especially for you and are not eligible for return. For this reason we ask you to double check your design for proper capitalization, spelling errors, correct dates etc.
• Care: We suggest using a jewelry cleaning/polishing cloth to help your sterling silver jewelry maintain its original luster and brilliant shine. Liquid silver cleaners are not recommended as they may dull the finish and/or remove the antiquing from your sterling silver jewelry.
• Photography of Custom Work: We regularly post images of our favorite custom creations on our website to provide customers with examples of our work. Please let us know if you prefer that we do not post images of the items that we create for you so that we may respect your request.
