The HT Instruments HT12 is a pocket-sized digital multimeter with an integrated clamp current sensor. It brings voltage, current, resistance, continuity and frequency measurement together in a single handheld instrument measuring 128 x 87 x 24 mm and weighing 210 g including its two AAA batteries, with readings shown on a 3¾-digit, 3400-count LCD that includes a bargraph, automatic polarity indication and an "OL" overrange indication.

A clamp-equipped multimeter lets a technician read current by clamping the jaw around a conductor while retaining the voltage, resistance and continuity functions of a conventional handheld meter. The HT12's integrated clamp accepts conductors up to 6 mm in diameter, and a minimum measured current of 15 A and minimum measured voltage of 30 V apply to its frequency measurement.
