BD Diesel's Deep Sump Transmission Pan is constructed from aluminum with heat-dissipating fins to significantly keep transmission fluid temperatures down. The pan is designed to increase oil capacity by 2.1 quarts, and its heavy duty construction increases rigidity to prevent case twisting under high stress. This enhancement promotes longer transmission life, especially under heavy use. The pan retains factory heat shields and includes a magnetic drain plug and a temperature sending unit port.
