In 2002 our more mobile culture was demanding a new kind of footwear. Women needed something that could work all day no matter what they had planned. Whether it be working, relaxing or running, the Verona was versatile enough to cater to all of those activities. When designing this pair Stephanie Howard also wanted to address the issue of women’s safety whilst running, therefore this shoe was sold with a safety whistle that could be worn on the wrist or stowed in a pocket on the tongue. This pair comes with the safety whistle still packaged, an incredibly rare thing to still have. Lightly worn, no og box, no signs of crumbling or separation.
