HeatWave seamlessly merges minimalist design with advanced physics principles. Engineered in collaboration with experts from the Enzo Ferrari Department at the University of Modena, this heater for outdoor patios optimises natural heat radiation by utilising emissivity variations linked to temperature and colour, enhancing overall efficiency.

The silver surface of the reflecting body is precisely designed to maximise radiation across various temperatures and wavelengths. Meticulous calculations of the silver surface and anodising thickness ensure optimal emissivity. A cross-sectional design with tapering thickness effectively distributes heat from the heating elements, ensuring even heat spread to the sides. Longitudinal ribs further enhance the radiating surface, intensifying infrared heater output and extending the reach of heat rays.

By optimising insulation between the radiant body and upper structure, HeatWave maximises heat transmission directly to its intended recipients. The insulation system also incorporates technical measures to minimise the impact of thermal bridges.

Durability is a key focus, achieved through careful material selection. The armoured heating elements are siliconized, achieving an IP67 rating to protect against humidity and prevent short circuits. Operating at 340°C, the infrared heater maximises infrared ray emission while staying within the anodization decay limits, ensuring long-lasting performance.
