Park Wines is an ongoing natural project between two great mates Dan and Jos. Dan Gillett started Wine Diamonds nearly ten years ago and makes wine under a number of different labels, and Jos Ruffell co-founded a brewery called Garage Project and at one point got pretty into making wine too. Seeing the need for locally-made, approachable (and affordable) natural wines that showcase the style and terroir, they combined forces (and wines), bringing together organic fruit from their two BioGro certified vineyards in Nelson and Marlborough, and making them together in Marlborough.  

Park Wines are made to be fun, easy-drinking and embrace all of what brought Dan and Jos together in the first place: good time, delicious, adventurous natural wines to enjoy with friends around a dinner table, by the pool or on a sunny blanket at the park. 

This is the third drop from Park Wine and the styles are even more refined this vintage, the wines are brighter and the fruit expression is purer than before. 

What's Big Red? It's a red for when Pinot Noir just isn't enough, but it can also be served chilled too, so it's pretty versatile really. There's Pinot Noir, Merlot and friends (Cab Franc and a touch of Syrah too). All from Marlborough. All fermented separately and later blended together. Juicy. Red fruits. A little spicy-brambly too. The tannins are light and the drinking is effortless.
