"BLUE RONDO" -Photograph of crystalline resveratrol from wine"Blue Rondo" weaves a dreamlike story line of pattern and color, uniquely different for each viewer. Resveratrol which is found naturally in grapes, is thought to have considerable health benefits. Here the crystals were grown in Desert Winds Winerys Duck Pond Chardonnay (WA), by evaporation on a glass microscope slide, then photographed through the microscope. The crystal facets create the colors naturally through refraction of the transmitted light.
